richmond wedding wednesdays: amuse restaurant at vmfa
There are so many ways you could design a really beautiful, modern reception at Amuse Restaurant at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. This week, though, it’s all about fun. A short modern dress. Maybe a smile booth? Jonathan Adler salt and pepper shakers as cake toppers. Bright yellow pomanders. And a sleek cocktail party for, oh, about 150.*

I’m really in love with this tablescape — its color palette and the origami details — designed by stylist Lo Bjurulf for Ikea Sweden. The design was inspired by the upcoming nuptials of the crown princess of Sweden.
