bold baubles
Adoring these bold baubles for the bride and her maids alike. Interested in cultivating the look on your wedding day? Elva Fields crafts some of the most divine pieces. Kate Spade, Miriam Haskell and Kendra Scott (available locally at Bella Bridesmaid) also make a statement.

dorothy draper inspired
Oversize prints, roman stripes, lush florals, chintz, chessboard tiles, and exuberant color — all signature Dorothy Draper moves. Her sense of whimsy and playfulness is infectious; her passion for color + flowers is so inspiring, especially for fetes as joyful and full of fun as weddings.

How fun is this photo booth, which looks like an adult sized puppet theater (!), from the Kate Spade party at Alt Summit via Twig & Thistle?
eye love you
Kate Spade’s mini party at Alt Summit looks like too much fun. Could totally see an “eye love you” concept coming to life for a wedding with black horn-rimmed glasses as the central design element. Speaking of, how much fun is this identity work by Sussner Design?

pretty color palettes #1
Excited to start a new Friday series here. I’ve collected so many images over the past three years (yes! the past three years! it will soon be my blogiversary) that I love on their own, just for their power to inspire pretty color palettes. So here we go! Number one. From the queen of color, Kate Spade.

twirl
Loving all of the promotion for Kate Spade’s newest scent, Twirl, photographed by Phil Poynter and styled by Elissa Santisi. The creative team transformed a nightclub into a sparkly new year’s celebration, but it’s great year round party inspiration, no?

color me happy!
One of the coolest things about next year is all of the color that’s being incorporated into weddings….love it!

take a chance
How cool is this installation by Cherre Berry at Kate Spade’s St. Louis store? Shaped around the idea of “take a chance,” shoppers drew cards from envelopes encouraging pure fun…laugh out loud, eat cake for breakfast, smile at strangers. These are all things I can get behind 100%. Every morning should start with sweets, in my opinion.

on entertaining
“I believe that entertaining should be a genuine extension of who you are, not a stuffy catering company and forced conversations. For me, it’s about a house full of fun and laughter.” -Deb Lloyd, creative director of Kate Spade as quoted in Elle.
