Just a peek of an arrangement I put together yesterday using camellia, quince, pear tree blossoms, daffodils and bells of ireland — many of the flowers were gathered from our yard. This is my favorite time of year, when the quince, daffodils and camellias are in bloom and the buds on the spring trees are beginning to open!

My neighbor has beautiful camellias that I’m drooling over, so when I found the image on the top right today in my inspiration folder, featured a few months ago on Perfect Bound, it reminded me of the old-world moodiness of the camellias I love so much. Happy weekend!
