spring flowers inspiration

Just a peek of an arrangement I put together yesterday using camellia, quince, pear tree blossoms, daffodils and bells of ireland — many of the flowers were gathered from our yard. This is my favorite time of year, when the quince, daffodils and camellias are in bloom and the buds on the spring trees are beginning to open!

Those are my wedding colours (minus the yellow). I love how large and varied the bouquet is. What is the name of the larger flower in the front of the arrangement?

Hi Sarah! They are camellias, and I’m not sure how well they’d work in a bouquet since they’d have to be out of water for some time and aren’t that hardy, but you could talk to your florist about it. You could also consider using peonies in their place.
