"richmond wedding"

Richmond Wedding Wednesdays rerun, originally posted last July…one of my favorite boards for the Virginia Center for Architecture. Wouldn’t it be lovely for a winter soiree?

The idea for this post all started with the Schumacher pattern (top right) — the Pyne Hollyhock Print. I could live on the Schumacher website, but I digress.

This board feels to me like it should be named “frankly my dear.” I imagine a debutante gone wrong, challenging convention, throwing on a black wedding gown and some silvery pumps and heading on out to say “I do” in style at The Virginia Center for Architecture. Because, as we all know, VCA is like the most gorgeous wedding venue in  RVA.

I just adore the black wedding dress. I love the nontraditional colors for wedding dresses.
